One company for the whole yard
Magnolia Outdoor Living is a landscaping & outdoor construction company owned and run by Daniel and David DeAnda, based in Mobile and working across Mobile and Baldwin counties.
Why we do it this way
Most outdoor projects get split three ways. A landscaper does the beds and the sod. A hardscape company does the patio. Somebody else does the fence, the drainage, or the deck. Each one quotes their own piece, nobody owns the order of work, and the customer ends up as the project manager.
Magnolia Outdoor Living exists so you do not have to do that. One crew looks at the whole property, plans it as one job, and builds it in the order that makes sense — drainage and grading before anything sits on top of them, irrigation before the sod, the fence before the lawn, the lighting with the wall instead of after it.

Front-yard refreshes, new-build yards from bare dirt, and full backyard renovations, across 11 towns in Mobile and Baldwin counties.
What we are best at
The jobs where the pieces have to fit: a backyard that needs grading, a patio, a fire pit, sod, and lighting, and needs them in the right order. That is where doing everything under one roof pays off, and it is the work we would rather be doing than anything else.

One crew, one sequence
The order the yard gets built in
Every stage sits on the one before it. When three companies each own a piece, this order is nobody’s job. When one crew owns the yard, it is the whole job.
Grade
The ground is shaped so water runs away from the house before anything sits on it.
Drain
French drains, downspout lines, and catch basins go in while the yard is still open.
Irrigate
Sprinkler lines are trenched now, so the new lawn is never dug up later.
Build
Patios, walls, decks, and fences: the heavy work, on a compacted base.
Paver patios & walkways, Retaining walls, Deck building, Fence installation
Sod
Fresh sod laid tight over prepared ground, once nothing else will drive across it.
Plant
Beds, shrubs, and trees, then mulch or pine straw to a clean line.
Light
Fixtures set into the walls and along the paths, aimed after dark.
