Most landscaping jobs start the same way: the front of the house looks tired, the beds have gone to weeds, or a new build came with sod and nothing else. We design the beds, pick plants that actually like south Alabama heat and rain, and install the whole thing — plants, soil, edging, and mulch or pine straw — in one go.
The design is done with the rest of the yard in mind. If a walkway, lighting, or irrigation is coming later, the beds are laid out so none of it has to be dug up twice. That is the advantage of one company doing the whole yard instead of three.

What the price depends on
We do not publish a rate for this, because a number with no yard attached to it is a guess. These are the things that actually move it:
How much bed you are building, and how much of it is new ground versus beds being reworked
Plant sizes. The same shrub at three gallons and at fifteen gallons are not close in price
Whether the soil needs amending, and whether the beds need reshaping and fresh edging first
Mulch or pine straw, and how deep it goes
Access. A clear wheelbarrow route costs less than carrying everything through a side gate
We measure all of it on site. The written quote comes back with the scope, the materials and one price for the whole job, so you are comparing a number to a number rather than one guess to another.

What plants hold up in Mobile and Baldwin County?
Heat, humidity, heavy rain, and the occasional freeze rule out a lot of what garden centers sell. We lean on plants that are proven along the Gulf Coast and match them to the sun, shade, and drainage of each bed rather than planting the same thing everywhere.
Mulch or pine straw?
Both work here and it is mostly a look and a budget question. Pine straw is common on the Gulf Coast, cheap, and easy to top up. Hardwood or dyed mulch holds a crisper edge and lasts longer between refreshes. We will tell you which suits the beds you have.
Can you redo just the front beds?
Yes. Front-yard refreshes — pulling overgrown shrubs, reshaping beds, new plants, new edging, fresh mulch — are one of the most common jobs we do, and they make the biggest difference to a house for the money.
