A new lawn on the Gulf Coast without irrigation is a lawn that depends on you and a hose through every dry stretch. We install sprinkler systems zoned for how the yard is actually used — lawn, beds, shade, sun — with a controller you can understand, and we put them in before the sod so nothing is dug up afterward.
We also repair existing systems. Broken or buried heads, a zone that never comes on, a valve that will not shut off, a controller nobody has touched in years, a wet patch that turns out to be a cracked line. Most repairs are a single visit.
If a system is beyond saving we will say so and quote a replacement rather than patching it every spring.

What the price depends on
We do not publish a rate for this, because a number with no yard attached to it is a guess. These are the things that actually move it:
Yard size, and how many zones it has to be split into
Water source and the pressure available at the tap
Whether it is a new system or repairs to one already in the ground
Head and valve types
Backflow prevention, where the water utility requires it
We measure all of it on site. The written quote comes back with the scope, the materials and one price for the whole job, so you are comparing a number to a number rather than one guess to another.
Questions about this work
Can you fix my existing system or does it need replacing?
Most of the time it can be fixed. A visit to run each zone tells us what is wrong. If the pipe is failing in several places or the layout never worked, we will say so and quote a replacement instead of a repair that will not hold.
Should irrigation go in before or after the sod?
Before. Trenching through a new lawn undoes the work. If you are planning sod, get the irrigation quoted at the same time so the order is right.
How often should I run it?
Deep and infrequent once a lawn is established — a couple of times a week in dry weather rather than a little every day. New sod is the exception and needs daily water for the first couple of weeks. We set the controller for whichever stage the yard is in.
